Guest sierrakilo Posted February 14, 2008 Share Posted February 14, 2008 Hey anyone see or know of an old Japanese black and white movie where a Jiujitsu or jujitsu practitioner is challenged by two Karateka brothers and one is i think a bit crazy. I think they end up fighting on a snowy hillside. Thats all i can remember I thought the title translated to "the jujitsu master" but could be mistaken. Any help? Member KevinC Posted February 14, 2008 Member Share Posted February 14, 2008 It's the Judo Saga. It has been filmed a few times. Akira Kurosawa filmed it in two parts. Part 2 would be what you are referring to above. There was another black and white filmed in 1965 that contained the whole story in one movie. I suspect the one you saw was the Kurosawa version. The older Hong Kong one seen on ebay and other sites is cheap, but the subtitles are really terrible.
