Really great in some ways, like the post war effect on japanese culture, really impressive atmosphere because of that ie: the westernization of the town or city they (Toshiro and Shimura) were in. The ending was a bit of a let down. That ending fight was just silly, being so mellow dramatic and just whatever, but I really enjoyed Shimura's performance.
