You will be awarded the following: 5 points - Obscure animal style not listed below 4 points - Leopard or Panther 3 points - Crane 2 points - Praying Mantis or Eagle's Claw 1 point - Tiger, Dragon, Snake or Monkey 0 points - Drunken Style + 1 bonus point for films set in tradional times. The competition closes on my birthday (27th February). The winner will get a prize. P.S. Youtube clips or the like may be required for proof of a style in a movie. I will check that film ASAP to confirm if really traditional. If I spot a car or plug socket then you will not be awarded the extra bonus point... In that case, I suppose King of Beggars can be called traditional, even though it is a bit silly. Not sure if I remember correctly, but I think Yuen Wah did Eagle Claw in Eastern Condors (1986). Crane, snake...), Kickboxer (eagle claw from Yuen Wah) and Operation Scorpio (eel). Stephen Chow uses a quick snake fist in Kung Fu Hustle but it isn't a fight scene, so I don't know if that counts.
