Member venoms5 Posted January 19, 2008 Member Share Posted January 19, 2008 Hi, Yu. One of the cuts from the DAIMAJIN/MARCO POLO tracks is actually a piece from TERROR OF MECHA-GODZILLA. Nice work, BTW.
Member Yu_Xihong Posted January 19, 2008 Member Share Posted January 19, 2008 Yeah that was a mistake. It was used an ending for some non Shaw kungfu movie I forgot which. There was a Mechagodzilla track used as a double/variation of the real ending I deleted that one by accident.
Member venoms5 Posted January 19, 2008 Member Share Posted January 19, 2008 If you decide to do more please take into consideration to do some cuts for HEROIC ONES. There are still a fair number of other pieces "missing". I would do it myself but I'm ignorant as to how to do such things at this time. I imagine this takes up an incredible amount of time as it is. Guest humanPulp
wait... which movies used the non-GOBLIN songs from the original DAWN OF THE DEAD?
Member venoms5 Posted January 23, 2008 Member Share Posted January 23, 2008 That'd be a long list. I think the stock score used for DAWN is available on CD still. Some of the movies using the same library tracks are-- FLAG OF IRON INVINCIBLE SHAOLIN BRAVE ARCHER DAREDEVILS
Moderator Asmo Posted January 23, 2008 Moderator Share Posted January 23, 2008 I appreciate the excellent uploads. Can someone who is familiar with torrents create torrent files of these sets (I haven't dl'ed them yet) for those who might only want sets from certain films? Looking forward to more. Member Yu_Xihong Posted January 24, 2008 Member Share Posted January 24, 2008 Thanks for all this stuff, and the nice higher bitrate on most of them - that 128k shit is for the birds, you know? Now while we're on the subject, does ANYONE know where the music from Brave Archer comes from, especially the introspective orchestral stuff, also heard in Usurpers of Emperor's Power? Supposedly, it comes from here. I can't imagine what other greatness is on this LP. Jack Trombey IMO, is De Wolfe's best guy for drama tunes. (http://www.discjj.com/user/cart/gds_detail.php?id=18381) same link different language Thanks for the tips everybody. I still can't find the "monster sounding" music from Shanghai 13. Except for the "love theme" it's pretty much covered now.

Member magicpoe Posted January 27, 2008 Member Share Posted January 27, 2008 I'm receiving an error also. The download will timeout after a minute or so. Would you please repost? I appreciate your efforts with this. I've been using the De Wolfe library website to fill in some of the blanks concerning the composers. http://www.dewolfe.co.uk/

Member venoms5 Posted January 27, 2008 Member Share Posted January 27, 2008 that file is not working for me and ive used megaupload a million of times. Anybody else getting an error? I haven't had any problems downloading but apparently if I don't create another file to put the music into, I lose them and I have to download again. I have to go into the file I made and re-enter the music back into itunes or else I get a message that itunes doesn't know where the file came from and I get an exclamation point beside the track in my library. Member Yu_Xihong Posted February 23, 2008 Member Share Posted February 23, 2008 I don't think they ever went on sale. I think the date got pushed back and the sites never updated. If it was really out, I would think I would be able to find a track list at least but I can't. On second thought, I think the date is backwards... instead of 02.11.08... think 11.02.08 (>_< )

Member venoms5 Posted February 29, 2008 Member Share Posted February 29, 2008 Here's the next installment. As for Itunes, I have zero experience with it sorry. -backup link Not sure if there's an easier way but I downloaded Media Monkey to enable me to place the tracks on my iPod. I played all the tracks through Itunes then through MM then right clicked and placed the tunes in a file either pre-existing or created one. Then when I synced my iPod and it said the tracks could not be found to be synced, it says do I want to find them. Click yes, then go to the file where the tracks are and play them and they immediately upload to the iPod. Sounds like a lot, but it's the only way I was able to get them to work in iTunes. Member Killer Meteor Posted March 2, 2008 Member Share Posted March 2, 2008 May have mentioned this before, but the title track for Shaolin Abott ia a De Wolfe track originally written by Paul Ferris for The Blood Beast Terror. Ferris's cues also appear in the tv series Count Duckula, which shares De Wolfe cues with Shaw films and Dawn Of The Dead
