Ok, I checked on hkmdb and I think that I made a mistake, but well, you can forgive me if you look at these pictures, one can see that these two stars deserve to be in the Stars resembling other stars section, I guess...

I think this may be the first that that Ken Lo has ever been mistaken for Andy Lau, but we all make mistakes! Worth pointing out @ShawAngela that Andy Lau is in 'Drunken Master II' - he has a cameo near the beginning as an inspector on the train - below is an image of him from the movie along with Ken Lo (the top image is Lau) -
Member Yihetuan Posted August 8, 2021 Member Share Posted August 8, 2021 With the official Warner release, it is HKR's policy to discontinue any titles that have legit release. So HKR has complied with their request to remove that title from their store but for a limited time you can download it before it goes completely OOP. So for those sitting on the fence, now is the time to grab a copy (much superior to the Warner Bros release).
Member Drunken Monk Posted June 27, 2023 Member Share Posted June 27, 2023 I've been watching Eric Jacobus' interviews with Mark Houghton over the last two days and he really sheds some light on the Drunken Master 2 situation. All this time, I thought Lau Kar Leung had only directed a small part of the movie with Jackie taking over pretty early. Mark says Lau Kar Leung shot all but the final fight with Lau Kar Yung choreographing most of the action (with the help of Lau Kar Leung), Basically, Jackie was only responsible for the finale. I honestly had no idea. Apparently, Pops and Jackie initially fell out over the style of drunken boxing used in the film. Jackie wanted Wong Fei Hung to get drunk and fight using drunken boxing. Lau Kae Leung wanted Wong Fei Hung to pretend he was drunk and then explode in a flurry of (sober) moves. I hope that makes sense. Basically, his idea for drunken boxing was pretend --> sober attacks --> pretend again. Fascinating. It looks like Jackie got his way as in some fights, Wong Fei Hung is quite visibly intoxicated. Before Jackie's finale, Mark Houghton was meant to take part in a 3-on-1 against Felix Wong, Hoh Wing-Fong and Chin Ka-Lok. It's a shame it was never filmed. Also, as a side note, Eric Jacobus asks Mark Houghton, "Does speaking Cantonese help with Hong Kong choreography" and Mark must've misheard "choreography" as "pornography" as he proceeds to talk about how he shot a full frontal nude scene for a CAT III film. Funny as hell.

He was also supposed to have a full-on fight scene with Jackie Chan, pitting the Drunken boxing against Western boxing. It was supposed to have been when Wong is taken to prison. There were some takes, but it was ultimately cut due to some "miscommunication" on set.

And it sounded like Lau Kar Leung may have wanted it to happen.

So apparently what happened was that Mark was told to hit Jackie hard and it is believed he (JC) requested it, and when he did, one of his stunt team told him if he did it again, he would be fired.
