Member gravedigger666 Posted October 24, 2008 Member Share Posted October 24, 2008 Movie is quite OK.Fights could be better but more entertaining this was than average hammer horror. It does have some nude chinese women, shih szu and david chiang reason enough to check it out. Moderator Karlos Posted October 28, 2008 Moderator Share Posted October 28, 2008 The full 89 min. version is out now on DVD, under it's original title, Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. The US version, The Seven Brothers Meet Dracula, is cut by 15 mins! This was the first KF film I ever saw - needless to say, I have a real soft spot for it!! It ain't perfect ,but it's a nice looking film (look out for the lighting during the Chiang/Cushing conversation), with lots of Shaws stars, and some lovely performances (David Chiang is cool as always and Cushing has a real, quiet dignity to him). In fact, I'm gonna watch it again this Halloween!! XD
Member venoms5 Posted November 4, 2008 Member Share Posted November 4, 2008 Peter Cushing did one and it is included as an extra on the old AB dvd. There is also a score for the film on a compilation CD of Hammer scores. The bulk of the disc is the GOLDEN VAMPIRES soundtrack.
