Member Sifu Posted November 22, 2007 Member Share Posted November 22, 2007 I just last night finished making this video, it's my all-time favorite Kung Fu fights. It has an interesting beginning that starts out like a music vid, but it's not. I made especially for you guys here, so enjoy! The movies featured include hi-res DVD rips from Legendary Weapons of China, 7 Grandmasters, The Prodigal Son, and the rest I'd rather not reveal to you all. It'll spoil the surprise! Please post some feedback, that'd be much appreciated. http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1516454tn96QHf7?c=MonkeyKingsMovies Ok, so on to my list. I love coming up with lists! Here we go! I’ve only chosen 3 elite! 3) Legendary Weapons of China - Lau Kar Leung vs. Lau Kar Wing..................so many weapons................my god, twelve minutes! 2) Drunken Master - Jackie Chan vs. Hwang Jang Lee, one of my all-time favorites. It’s extremely long, at times it may lose some’s attention, it may bore them eventually or even make them tired of watching Kung. AND THAT HIS HOW YOU CAN TELL AN IGNORANT AND FAKE KUNG FU FAN! Hands down one of the greats, great high kicks from Lee and amazing improvising and Drunken Kung Fu from Chan as well! Nuf said. 1) Enter the Dragon - Bruce Lee vs. Shih Kien in the room of mirrors, I know this may shock some. But, this is another fight that I chose not necessarily for the choreography, but more for the execution. The fight was amazingly orchestrated through out, and even though there isn't much choreography, just the sheer suspense and intensity is enough! Bruce Lee at his best, it’s been redone and copied many times, but none can compare. Honorable mentions: The Prodigal Son's finale, The Young Master's, along with Showdown at the Cotton Mill's! Member SlothStyleKungFu Posted February 14, 2008 Member Share Posted February 14, 2008 I'm not gonna' rock my brain for a top five, but (the "Who is the old guy in Iron-Fisted Monk" thread reminded me) I've always enjoyed the final battle in "Tough Guy." Its not a top tier film, by any means, but something about Chen Sing chasing that guy across the muddy flat land and the two bashing it out while splattered and knee deep in mud is about as fucking primal as it gets. And, of course, the overall atmospherics of the final battle in "The Streetfighter" are pretty kick ass as well.
Member The Dragon Posted February 27, 2008 Member Share Posted February 27, 2008 Well... I've got another five... Little Superman aka Bruce D-Day at Macao Return of The Chinese Boxer Chinese Connection II (Bruce Li against Lo Lieh) The Queen Boxer (Judy Lee is awesome) and how about this one... Fists and Guts (Gordon Liu against Lo Lieh!)
