Blade of Fury (2024) Qin Peng Fei - Pema Jyad, Ashton Chen

Not sure if this has any connection to the '93 Sammo Hung classic of the same name. Maybe?

Anyway, the trailer has a surprisingly dark look. Also the fights seem pretty brutal. @Yihetuan probably not a total surprise since the director is once again Qin Peng Fei! Busy man.

For what it's worth. Call this fan satisfied with this first look. Might be worth checking out.

Busy indeed, he's supposed to do a movie with Iko Uwais in 2024. as well. Actually, he's co-directing with Ashton Chen.

As for Blade of Fury, it looks great. Can't wait!

That's actually exciting news! Any details yet or it's just a rumor for the time being. Looks like Qin Peng Fei is moving up the ladder, good for him.

No rumor, Wings of Dread is the title. 

This is still just a theory or a hunch if you will, but I believe Qin Peng-fei became somewhat of a star director back at home, I can't tell if this happened with the FAE movies, or with Black Storm, which is, btw, based on true events.

The Iko Uwais news is exciting. Finally someone to save him from hollywood.

I watched Blade of Fury without subtitles and the action is very good. The way the movie is shot and the wiregags in it really made me think on Tanigaki's work on Kenshin and specially Sakra.

That's amazing! I'm looking forward to this collaboration. Let's hope Iko Uwais gets to actually show off his skills for a change.
