Member Drunken Monk Posted June 11 Member Share Posted June 11 According to Deadline, Yahya Abdul-Mateen ll has been cast in the John Creasy role in an upcoming tv series of the Tony Scott/Denzel Washington film, which, in turn, was based on the book series. Apparently, there was a lot more to the book series and so the tv series has plenty of plot to choose from. Initially, I wasn't too happy with the idea since I think the film is pretty damn fantastic as a standalone show. Steve Caple Jr. - the director of Creed II and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts - will be producing and the show will be airing on Netflix. I imagine cashing in on certain book series' will be the new thing soon. What with Reacher rocketing into the hearts of fans. Then we have the upcoming Alex Cross series.
