Guest Steve Barr
I found this film enjoyable but pretty average for a Shaw Brothers film. David Chiang was completely un-annoying for once, playing a heroic, killer (I thought they had rules against that) Shaolin monk. Perhaps only his hair is annoying? Guest kungfusamurai
Poor DC, looked kind of like Charlie Brown with that haircut. The movie was weak. There was maybe one or two good watchable fight scenes. But the film was just lame. And I think Lo Lieh himself was fighting in 30% of the fight scenes. The rest was some body double. Member KyFi Posted August 1, 2007 Member Share Posted August 1, 2007 I liked this one a lot. I will concede that the fight scenes looked more like they were from 1973 than from 1979, but since I love Shaw movies from 1973, it wasn't a problem for me. :lol
