Cinderella's Curse (2024) & Cinderella's Revenge (2024) - Two Films That Turn Cinderella into a Slasher!

Kelly Rian Sanson will play Cinderella in one of two horror movies based on Charles Perrault's novel coming out this year (the other, Cinderella's Revenge, starring Lauren Staerck as Cinderella and Natasha Henstridge as the Fairy Godmother, will be out in April). This one will see Cinderella ridiculed by the Prince and everyone rather than be loved back. So, in an homage to Carrie, she goes on a massive killing spree with the help of her Fairy Godmother (Chrissie Wunna), who grants her three wishes. Co-produced by Scott Chambers and directed by Louisa Warren, this one promises to be a bloody ball no one will forget.

Cinderella is one of my favorite stories of all time, so I don't care to see it turned into a slasher. I'll pass.
