James Couche's upcoming action film is about Joe, who awakens from a 5-month coma due to COVID-19 with no memory of who he is. However, when he slowly begins to learn who he once was, it becomes a fight for survival against a terrorist cell along with a female sniper out for revenge. Written, directed, lensed, edited, and choreographed by James Couche. The film is coming out in January from Indie Rights Movies

I talked to the film's writer-director James Couche today (interview will be up tomorrow). He is a huge fan of Hong Kong thrillers, B-movie action films and martial arts films. He originally hails from Harrisburg, PA, where Superfights was filmed (he is a massive fan of the film to this day with Time and Tide as one of his favorite HK films as well). He discovered newcomer Wan DraL when they lived in the same apartment building. Wan trained in kickboxing for the film and James also served as the film's fight choreographer, even taking a page from HK using a "stunt leg" for one of the fight scenes' close up impact shots. 

He even finally revealed a release date of January 10 from Indie Rights Movies on Digital.
