Member DarthKato Posted January 3 Member Share Posted January 3 I don't think I've ever heard of the first film. Was it any good?
Member AlbertV Posted January 3 Author Member Share Posted January 3 Yes it is. A kid is kidnapped by a mysterious child predator called the Grabber (Ethan Hawke in an excellent performance) and the victim, trapped in the basement, gets mysterious phone calls from the Grabber's past victims who advise him on how to escape. May sound farfetched, but its execution was tops.
Member Super Ninja Posted January 6 Member Share Posted January 6 The first one was surprisingly good, felt like a Stephen King adaptation a bit. I'm glad it's getting a sequel.
