The film is looking to be sold at the upcoming American Film Market under the name "The Panda Plan" and it will have Jackie playing a version of himself taking on international mercenaries kidnapping baby pandas, including a rare one with just one circle under one eye.

Jackie looks very of his age in the publicity photo in the article- you can tell he's starting to lose his hair as well, which is perfectly natural for a man of his age, so I'm not shaming him for it. The film is expected to release on October 1st. A test to see if Jackie can have another China Box office hit. Jackie's last three hits are Lego Ninjago Movie (2017), The Foreigner (2017), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem. Note that these are American productions or China co-productions with America or the UK. 

The upcoming Karate Kid featuring Jackie will very likely be a box office hit just due to the very fact it exists, regardless of any quality or lack thereof. Of course, it's an American production. Jackie has definitely fell out of favor at the Chinese box office. It is definitely time that he does a bunch of American movies again. He seems to be eternally popular here in the United States. I am very pleased about that.

Sadly, no we don't. They just couldn't fit us due to us taking most of the films budget.  Plus i wanted to do my own stunts but they were like no you'll upstage the star/

While I agree you're an amazing stunt Panda, I think it was more due to the fact you were just too heavy.

I can do stunts like Jackie, I maybe abit heavy but i could'ev doubled well for the Panda but..... they told me that i couldn't fit in due to being too heavy.

Not gonna lie. The cgi panda is  very cute in the trailer. This is also looks like the film could be an interesting change of pace for Jackie. I am very intrigued. The way this film appears to be set up would make sense for there to be little hand to hand combat. I think Jackie would only use his martial arts in this to specifically protect the panda.

This is easily one of the best Jackie Chan film trailers of the past two decades. I will be eagerly awaiting my chance to check out the movie.
