You made a good point that something can be both gross and amazing at the same time. Along similar lines would be those sideshow performers who actually eat glass for real. This actually took place in my neighborhood, a few blocks from where I live. My kid's school is right next to that park & the school sent a message to all parents informing us about the rally.
