Member laagi Posted July 10, 2023 Member Share Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) Not much information out there yet besides a brief description and these first stills. Quote A US veteran forms an unlikely bond with a young bar hostess. Seeing this as a chance for his own redemption not only does he have to fight local thugs and corrupt law enforcement, but also his inner demons. How far is he willing to go and how much will he sacrifice in order to protect the girl. "Hey Joe" is an action packed and emotional roller coaster set against the backdrop of a tropical paradise. Member Yihetuan Posted July 10, 2023 Member Share Posted July 10, 2023 They need to change the title. Aren't there already 3 or 4 Filipino movies with the same title?

Anyone who’s been to the Philippines will know there’s nothing “unlikely” about that bond.

It used to be worse when Subic Bay was open but seems like this administration under Marcos will allow US and Japanese forces to jointly use that facility again. Sadly that will mean more exploitation of the local women and another red light district opening nearby. 1
