Did the producers already have this planned or did they see The Chinese Boxer and throw this together in 2 months? Some good actors here too (Roc Tien, Chen Hsieh Lung etc) but no decent choreographers? There WAS a genuine bit of Karate when the class is practicing the kata Heian Shodan in one scene. The undercranking (20 fps?) and wirework is hilarious, thanks god bashers got better. It was easily the superior film, which is probably why I'm better disposed toward it than you are.
