This is an upcoming Canadian-Chinese co-production of an animated film that is reminiscent of The Forbidden Kingdom and Enter the Warrior's Gate. Charlie, an American teenager finds a portal that leads him to the ancient Chinese land of Sanxingdui, where he becomes the chosen one to become the fifth Golden Mask, who joins the titular band of heroes to protect the land from an evil conqueror. The legendary Christopher Plummer churns out his final performance voicing Rizzo, a mob boss in the modern day who has been making things difficult for Charlie before a new destiny is met. Patton Oswalt, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Byron Mann, Osric Chau, and Kieran O'Reilly provide voices as well. 

The film is coming to digital on June 9.
