Guest Jesse Smooth
This past Saturday I went. I've never been to a real Chinatown. I took a few pics of the sadly closed Great Star theater. I'm sure that place was always packed back in the day. I went to 2 video stores and picked up NAVAL COMMANDOS and JOURNEY OF THE DOOMED on VCD and LION VS LION on DVD. I also picked up TWINS MISSION on VCD (never seen any of the Twins films, bur they are cuties). I'll definitely try to go to SF Chinatown monthly. Now I just need to get a new region free DVD player since mine stopped playing VCDs. Will just get one on EBAY. Any reccomendations for a cheapie? Guest venomchamber
The VCDs should also be able to play in your computer.
Guest ToddTheRef
Jesse, you can find the above referenced Phillips DVD player at virtually any Walmart, if that helps. It plays any format you need, upscales very nicely, and is only $45! Guest JustinB123
You should be able to play VCDs on your iBook using QuickTime Player by following the directions here.
