Mark Fischbach, who is better known as the YouTuber Markiplier, is starring and makes his feature film directorial debut on an adaptation of the sci-fi horror video game Iron Lung, created by David Szymanski. Fischbach self-financed the film, which is Set in a post-apocalyptic future where an event known as "The Quiet Rapture" caused all known stars and habitable planets in the universe to disappear, a convict is sent to search an ocean of blood discovered on a desolate moon, using a midget submarine nicknamed the "Iron Lung". Szymanski assisted on the script and helped with pre-production. He is also making a cameo in the film. The film wrapped up filming almost 2 weeks ago.
