Member AlbertV Posted March 31, 2023 Member Share Posted March 31, 2023 On the awakening that today marks the end of an era with Bruce Willis' final movie "Assassin" out today, it was announced that it is "highly likely" that Clint Eastwood will also be retiring after his next film, Juror #2, which is rumored to star Nicholas Hoult (Renfield) and Toni Collette (Hereditary). The film follows one jury member in a murder trial who suspects he may have had some part in the victim’s death. He is caught in a moral conundrum of whether to use his secret to sway the jury away and protect himself or turn himself over to the justice system he is participating in. Eastwood and Warner Bros. have had a 5-decade partnership and Cry Macho was released, new WB Discovery head David Zaslav (the one who cancelled Batgirl) was reportedly not happy with the release. Eastwood turns 93 this summer. https://discussingfilm.net/2023/03/30/clint-eastwood-looking-to-direct-final-film-of-his-career-at-warner-bros-exclusive/
Member saltysam Posted March 31, 2023 Member Share Posted March 31, 2023 Can't see Clint retiring while he's got his health. Can see at least a couple of more lower budget movies coming from him.Don't think we'll see him in front of the camera again though.
