Guest monque
Here is a list of future purchases that I have compiled. Flying Guillotine 2 Heros of the East Ode To Gallantry Shaolin Intruders Martial Arts of Shaolin Flag of Iron Shaolin Martial Arts The Kung Fu Instructor How good are these movies? Are they worth me picking up?
Guest teako170
Some are better than others but as a whole, you have a decent list of films there. If money is no object I would get them all. But be sure to watch Heroes of the East first - a classic A+ flick.
Guest iron flag
I would say all (except Ode to Gallantry)
Guest teako170
I would say all (except Ode to Gallantry) d-d-d-DAMN! and here I thought you supported the V-boys. 8o Ok-ok. "Ode" is probably one of the weaker V-flix but hey... like David Puddy said on Seinfeld ... "gotta support the team." :rollin
Guest morgoth
HEroes of the East and Shaolin Intruders are 2 of the best movies I have ever seen. Only other movie on that list I have seen is Flag of Iron and I didn't care for it at all.
Guest vengeanceofhumanlanterns
It depends of course on your personal preference. What type of martial arts film do you really appreciate viewing? As far as my picks from that list: Shaolin Intruders Flag Of Iron Flying Guillotine 2 Ode To Gallantry The Kung Fu Instructor Heroes Of The East is (I think) a Michael Chan Wei Man (mispell) he thinks of this as one of his best films from what I'd read in an interview with him. Guest oldeschool17
I wasnt a fan of Martial Arts of Shaolin. Dont get me wrong, the setting was beautifully shot, the action quite good, but the typical lau kar leung comedy bits annoyed the hell out of me. If it were a lil more serious i probably would have liked it better. Flag of Iron was a good Venoms film. I like the costumes, characters, and the use of Flags as a weapon. The Rambler is cool in this movie although its too bad he didnt get more action. Report back to us after you seen this movie!
