Member WangYu Posted February 15, 2023 Member Share Posted February 15, 2023 (edited) Hey guys I’m planning to acquire some films, I used to watch everything on the internet through various sites including youtube but I am getting fed up with the awful quality of the uploads. I was wondering of films in the following genres are still in print or available in good quality: -Italian Peplum film (sword and sandal, think Hercules, Maciste etc) -Paul Naschy films (especially the Waldemar Daninsky series) -Jesus Franco films -Jean Rollin films -Japanese Kaiju films (think Godzilla, Gamera etc) -Poliziotteschi films (basically Italian crime films of the 70s) -Spaghetti westerns -Hammer ( both horror and adventure) -Angela Mao and Jimmy Wang Yu (It is impossible for me to find good looking copies online to stream) So where to buy obscure B films like the ones I listed? Is there some kind of method to know for sure I’m not buying something terrible? PS I am aware Shaw brothers have made available a big chunk of their films in excellent quality.
