Did this excellent Sammo Hung film ever get a remastered blu ray? I only have it on the HKL label, VHS. So not seen it since video players became extinct. I know there's been a few DVD's of this but Amazon listed it having English dub, for which I avoided.

I'm not aware of a blu ray. But there was a Warner Archive DVD a few years ago which looked to have used a remastered print. Amazon do list it as being dubbed, but I'm fairly sure my Warner Archive copy was not dubbed, however the subs were quite annoying as they were only available as SDH.

I'm sorry. I do not know what that acronym means. What is SDH?

Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Oh right. Still, I'll wait patiently for a Eureka or 88 films release, or Arrow films which there would be minimal chance.

I remember now why I haven't got it. I did finish the torrent, but the poxy MKV was hardsubbed with Chinese characters instead of having removable subs. So that's why I deleted it.

So went to Warner's website where a sneek peek is with subs, even though Amazon UK states it as dubbed. So just ordered it on substandard DVD. At least it's better than my HKL VHS.

Oh yes, so it is. Had to check upstairs. It's under a pile of 300 DVD's.
