Member DeathFuMaster Posted September 30, 2022 Member Share Posted September 30, 2022 I’m looking for more independent action movies to watch. I’ve seen everything by the Stunt People (hate that they aren’t doing features anymore), Unlucky Stars, and most of Johnny Yong Bosch’s stuff. Are there any other groups or filmmakers that are making these type of independent action/Kung fu films?

They're very good. Kept them in my queue. 2

Jailbreak is available at DDD, price is more than reasonable, a bit cheaper than when I bought it.

Member CaldoTheKid Posted April 19, 2023 Member Share Posted April 19, 2023 I recall Dark World: Duel of the Assassins (2003) being okay for a micro budget movie. It even use's archive sound of Bruce Lee. You can watch it for free on IMDB. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0419674/?ref_=vp_close
Member AlbertV Posted April 20, 2023 Member Share Posted April 20, 2023 Dark Assassin (2005), starring Jason Yee and Cung Le. The two had a real-life Sanshou fight in 1997 in Orlando, FL. Years later, they had a "rematch" in films.
Member DrNgor Posted April 20, 2023 Member Share Posted April 20, 2023 Was Forbidden Warrior micro-budget? It certainly looked like it was.
