Member Yihetuan Posted September 22, 2022 Member Share Posted September 22, 2022 (edited) The first part of this two part documentary will be shown in Taiwan next month. Looks interesting with famed directors John Woo, Tsui Hark, Ann Hui among others paying tribute and detailing the influence of King Hu on their own directorial vision. Hoping this eventually gets a physical media release since it already has English subtitles. https://taiwancinema.bamid.gov.tw/EngFilm/EngFilmcontent/?ContentUrl=89213 Edited September 22, 2022 by Yihetuan 5
Member Iron_Leopard Posted September 22, 2022 Member Share Posted September 22, 2022 I hope they talk about Come Drink With Me also. I don't think I saw it anywhere in the trailer.

Few docs use Shaw footage because it's unreasonably expensive to obtain the rights.
