Your favorite transition from training to using that training method into a fight scene?

I recently rewatched karate kid 1984. I hadn’t done so since my childhood many moons ago. I thought it was going to be cheesy and a waste of time but to my surprise I completely loved it. From the characters to the villains, the teacher, the teenage romance. It was great.

But what I loved the most was the training method. I kept thinking how will this help Daniel in a fight until that fight happened. Daniel finally saw why he did the wax on wax off thing over and over again. I thought that was a brilliant reveal! I was equally overjoyed and amazed as Daniel was. Now that’s filmmaking is what I thought!

Also loved how his bully opponents in the end were big enough to congratulate Daniel.

Honestly, a great MA movie. Now I feel I should watch Cobra Kai.
