So there's two scrub friends and they get this book to train martial arts for whatever reason. But the book ends up having ripped pages so the various poses or styles that people are stood in are obscured.
One of the two jokes that if the feet are missing, then you don't use them. You only use your arms and or head. No hands no face technique . Etc
They do the usual montage training , like on bamboo contraptions in the woods, whacking things to make there limbs and back tougher or whatever.
Another distinct scene i remember is them in some sort of food hut/restaurant and a fight breaks out. They block and deflect all of the bad guys hits with plates, accompanied by comically bad sound effects.
This was an old DVD me and a friend watched years and years ago from some market stall. It was labelled drunken master. But it wasn't a jackie chan film. We think it got mislabelled since there was nothing to do with drunken fighting in it. Although there was an older long grey haired kung fu actor that seemed familiar.
Was 'old' old and had pretty bad voice acting but was great.
