Member J.J. Hayden Posted June 1 Author Member Share Posted June 1 While doing some of my final touch ups, I came across some very sad news. James Nam Seok-hoon, one of the most familiar Korean faces to fans of martial marts movies and one of the most important figures in the cross-over between Hong Kong and Korean cinema, passed away on 7th of May 2024 in Hawaii. I have added this unfortunate update to his page and will provide him with an updated bio at some point too, as he had quite a career in the entertainment industry, how many people knew he'd been a singer before becoming an actor . Another legend lost. RIP 1
Member J.J. Hayden Posted June 7 Author Member Share Posted June 7 In Hae-jin Special Mission again and another talented kid who I wish we'd seen more from, seems this was his one and only film credit, maybe he was a poomsae champion or something as he had some clean kicks. I created a page for him and added his name in Hangul. Added his credit to Special Mission and the character name as he plays the childhood version of the main character. Added some pics of him and also of the girl playing the kid version of the main actress, unfortunately it seems she didn't even get a credit and I can't say I've seen her in anything else so I don't think there's any point in creating an “unknown” actress page for her. On a more positive note, I'm finally done with my tasks and am back to finishing Yakuza 5, it's only been waiting about 6 months now Cheers
Member J.J. Hayden Posted June 21 Author Member Share Posted June 21 Hello all. I finally did it, I finally took a break and finally finished Yakuza 5 (about 6 months later ). But of course, the story of my life is always the same, as the first day of my break I developed some kind of cold/flu so was pretty miserable for a lot of it I think I'm mostly over it now, my neck and upper back are still achy and sometimes I have a coughing fit, but mostly feeling a lot better. I'm still going to be taking it easy and pacing myself a bit, I'm even playing another game called Tunic which has been good fun. But it can be frustrating at times, so to get away from it I do a bit of sorting of my research, including this one which was very nearly ready for a while, just needed that gap to finish it off because it's another big one. So here we have Jeong Joo-hyeon, one of my very first IDs I made, even before the KMDB had a pic of him (Would've been helpful a few years earlier, lads!) Firstly, he seemed to show up in just about everything, which turned out to be a bit of a double edged sword because he wasn't credited in a bunch of them so made me question myself sometimes. But what really helped settle things was that I did a deep dive on him because he sometimes looks like Won Jin to me. So when trying to figure out WJ's true filmography, I checked all the cases where it was either WJ or Jeong Joo-hyeon, most of the time it was the latter. He was certainly one of the busiest guys in the business, showing up in a bunch of films, often as several characters, though he never became a big star, which is a bit of a shame, but at least he's earned his place as a familiar face to fans of the genre, and now those fans have a name for the face. No doubt Gaijin 84'll be happy, as Gaijin already had about 7 portraits of him waiting, I've added tags as requested He'd also been credited in about 6 films already but had not yet been ID'd: Fury Of Dragon; Lone Shaolin Avenger; Rage Of The Dragon; Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple; The Divine Martial Arts Of Dharma; Woman's Martial Arts I actually started his update a while ago, but there was so much (and new additions along the way) that I kept having to take breaks, as working too much on a single person can get a bit tiring. I'd even ID'd him already while working on the Korean cut of Seven Men Of Kung Fu [1978], unfortunately the quality of the footage is so poor, it probably didn't help anyone. Again, sadly not much info to ad, just his year of birth and a few alias'. Another of those guys that don't seem to get much appreciation, even in their homeland. 28 new IDs and credits: Lone Shaolin Avenger (aka The Mighty Four) [1977] The Last Fist Of Fury (aka The Real Bruce Lee) [1977] Return Of Red Tiger [1977] Bruce And Shaolin Kung Fu [1977] The Wonderman From Shaolin (aka The Magnificent Wonderman) [1978] Seven Men Of Kung-Fu [1978] Fury Of Dragon (aka The Angry Dragon) [1978] --- 2 roles Dragon From Shaolin [1978] --- 4 roles The Divine Martial Arts Of Dharma [1978] --- 2 roles The Dynamite Shaolin Heroes [1978] Magnificent Fist [1978] Enter The Game Of Death [1978] The Magnificent Duo [1979] Killer Of Snake, Fox Of Shaolin [1979] Kung Fu Fever [1979] The Dragon's Infernal Showdown [1980] --- 3 roles Golden Dragon, Silver Snake [1980] Twelve Gates To Hell (aka Champ Vs. Member J.J. Hayden Posted June 28 Author Member Share Posted June 28 Seems I missed one Well it's one of those films I hadn't watched in a long time and it's been a tricky one for ID's. That's because it has several familiar faces in it (updates coming soon ) playing several roles each (as you see Yoo Seong is playing 4 roles here), and when they're wearing outfits that hide their features or cover them in paint, it can make positive ID's even more difficult than usual. But as if that wasn't enough, it's also a crossover film, so there's the chance that some people could just be lookalikes from HK or Taiwan, so you've gotta be careful. This film was a great example of this as it came up several times, but especially in one case, where there's a guy who looks oh so similar to a guy that is in it already but it's just not clicking, I've learned to trust that feeling as it's often been proven correct in the end Rivals Of The Silver Fox [1979] --- 4 roles I was planning to do a bigger update for someone else, but similar to this film I watched one I've not seen in years and suddenly spotted a whole bunch of IDs, so as always I stopped what I was doing and spent an age on that. Member J.J. Hayden Posted July 5 Author Member Share Posted July 5 Korean Updates Project - Park Yang-geun https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=81022&complete_credits=1&display_set=eng Another big one like Jeong Joo-hyeon, and similarly to Jeong Joo-hyeon he was in so many films, in a career that stretched on into the 90s, yet there's relatively little information on him. So in terms of basic data, I've added: two names in Hanja; his DOB and gender. Already credited (but not ID'd) in nine films. But it might actually be that I'd added some of these myself at an earlier date, as I did add some credits when I was looking over some of the films that have [Korean cut]s, but it was a while ago and I can't remember which I added The Mark Of The Black Dragon [1978] Return Of The Scorpion [1980] The Clones Of Bruce Lee [1980] --- [Korean cut] Hard Bastard [1981] Seven Finger Kung Fu [1981] Ninja In The Dragon's Den [1982] --- [Korean cut] Shaolin Vs. Lama [1983] --- [Korean cut] Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple [1983] Wild Panther [1984] --- [Korean cut] So with those exceptions the rest are new credits and all ID's are new, I also tagged some pics for Gaijin for: Bruce And Shaolin Kung Fu 1+2; Return Of Red Tiger; Twelve Gates To Hell; Dragon Lee Fights Again; Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple. Special Mission [1976] Third Son Of Dragon King [1977] Bruce And Shaolin Kung Fu [1977] Bruce And Shaolin Kung Fu 2 [1977] Return Of Red Tiger [1977] My Name Called Bruce [1978] Return Of Fist Of Fury [1978] The Divine Martial Arts Of Dharma [1978] --- 2 roles Four Infernos To Cross [1978] Double Dragon in Last Duel [1978] The Mark Of The Black Dragon [1978] The Magnificent Duo [1979] Twelve Gates To Hell [1980] --- 2 roles Laughing Fist [1980] Return Of The Scorpion [1980] The Clones Of Bruce Lee [1980] --- [Korean cut] Raiders Of Buddhist Kung Fu [1981] Dragon Lee Fights Again [1981] Hard Bastard [1981] Seven Finger Kung Fu [1981] Woman's Martial Arts [1982] Ninja In The Dragon's Den [1982] --- [Korean cut] Leopard Fist Ninja [1982] Shaolin Vs. Lama [1983] --- [Korean cut] Fire Lord [1983] --- [Korean cut] Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple [1983] --- 3 roles Wild Panther [1984] --- [Korean cut] Ninja Champion [1986] I also have a related update coming soon. PS: If anyone knows where to find some of the [Korean cut]s listed above (except Ninja In The Dragon's Den), please let me know Cheers
Member J.J. Hayden Posted July 12 Author Member Share Posted July 12 Korean Updates Project - Park Yoon-geun https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=84372&display_set=eng This one is an interesting case, as the younger brother (Park Yang-geun) seems to have done much more work than the other. The comparison is very noticeable in his relatively small number of films on the HKMDB, but even in his exclusively Korean films it's very imbalanced. They actually show up in quite a few films together, including all the ones on HKMDB, which is nice to see. But it was actually a bit of a pain when it came to IDing as they're almost indistinguishable at times, and when they play more than one role, it really get fun There is even a small chance that I've mixed them up once or twice (I know the KMDB has), but I'm fairly confident that I've got them all correct....I spent enough time on them He already had a page with one credit on HKMDB for Fire Lord but with no ID. Which is interesting because it just happens to be one of the films where his more prolific brother can't be seen except in the Korean cut. So I've added: his name in Hangul and aliases; a hyperlink between him and his bro's page; and his other films with IDs for all. The Divine Martial Arts Of Dharma [1978] Dragon In Last Duel [1978] The Magnificent Duo [1979] Twelve Gates To Hell [1980] --- 3 roles Laughing Fist [1980] Fire Lord [1983] Cheers

Member J.J. Hayden Posted July 24 Author Member Share Posted July 24 Koreans Update Project - Oh Ji-hwan Another quick one, as I've only one film to add. It's connected to another update that's coming soon, so I thought I might as well add it now. He only has two known credits; one for The Story Of Murim Wicked Man (which was already on HKMDB and I don't have footage of) and The 18 Amazones, which I have added, he actually plays two roles. There is another possible film but I'm only about 70% sure it's him, so have left it for now. Wasn't much else to add except he's male and a few aliases. Member J.J. Hayden Posted July 26 Author Member Share Posted July 26 Koreans Update Project - Hwang Dae-pyung https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=18591&complete_credits=1&display_set=eng He already had HKMDB page under his birth name of Kim Yong-wan, with most of his credits: 10 Shaolin Disciples; Deadly Shaolin Longfist; Invincible Obsessed Fighter; Magnificent Natural Fist; Blue Butterfly The Amazon; The Undertaker In Sohwa Province; and the cut & paste film from that, Zodiac Power: The Super Master. But he'd only been ID'd in The Undertaker In Sohwa Province; Magnificent Natural Fist and Blue Butterfly The Amazon. The is also another picture that I'm not sure what to do with, because I'm pretty certain it's not him, but it's not connected to any film so I've nothing to check. Shall I delete this picture? [img]https://hkmdb.com/db/images/people/18591/KimYongWan-5-b.jpg[/img] There was a decent bit to add though as, apart from the 3 new credits (The 18 Amazones; Duel Of The Tough; and Revenge Of Drunken Master) he needed pics from most of his films and several of them (including some already there) have him playing more than one role. I've also added his DOB and some aliases; including moving Kim Yong-wan to aliases as he took on the stage name of Hwang Dae-pyung. I also tagged Gaijin's pics for Revenge Of Drunken Master and Deadly Shaolin Longfist. The 18 Amazones [1979] --- 3 roles Duel Of The Tough [1981] --- 3 roles Revenge Of Drunken Master [1981] 10 Shaolin Disciples [1981] --- 3 roles Deadly Shaolin Longfist [1982] Invincible Obsessed Fighter [1982] Magnificent Natural Fist [1983] Blue Butterfly The Amazon [1983] --- 2 roles The Undertaker In Sohwa Province [1983] --- 2 roles Cheers
Member J.J. Hayden Posted July 30 Author Member Share Posted July 30 Unknown Korean Actor (2) - ID Jeon Jeong-ik [url]https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=60799&display_set=eng[/url] It's been a very good month (or two now ) for me in terms of research. I've managed to get to the bottom of many mysteries I've been working on for years. Including one that I'm very pleased to get to the bottom of over the last few days, as the about a week or two ago I spent an entire week looking over a rare film a friend sent me. It took that long due to some kind of time coding error which makes me unable to fast forward or rewind, so I had to come up with some unideal solutions. But even then it seemed fruitless. Fortunately due to some puzzle work, I started a chain reaction of breakthroughs that led me to me solving the mystery in the end. Sorry to waffle on, but it was so frustrating and disheartening to have put in such effort with no results. So for it to turn around so quickly, I'm very happy. Anyway what I'm happy to add today is another solution to a mystery, one that I'd actually addressed before. An ID that I had actually got correct, but at the time was only an assumption, as there were only two credits, both of which featured non-Koreans, so I couldn't be sure that this actor was not actually a Taiwanese or Hong Konger I didn't recognise. Fortunately the KMDB has actually came through for once and added a new ID (and I believe it's correct, I've noticed them make quite a few mistakes :p ), so I can now say that Unknown Korean Actor (2) is called Jeon Jeong-ik. There wasn't much else to add, just his Hangul, another alias and a few more pics to his only two credits. So I finally finished what I started, IDing all the old Unknown Korean Actor pages on the HKMDB: #1 Kim Yeong-in; #3 Lee Jae-yeong (2); #4 Hong Seong-chan; #5/7 Kim Ki-hong/Yeong Seop; #6 Moon Jong-geum It's been nearly two years but we got there in the end I'll keep the Hanja [ 姓名不詳的韓國演員 (trad) / 姓名不详的韩国演员 (simp) ] on file though, as I may have to add some new ones myself at some point, some people seem to never be credited. Despite whittling down my own unknowns list from about 100, I've still got at least 30 Korean actors that appear in more than one film that I don't have names for, though this does include people that are unlikely to appear on the HKMDB. Sorry to waffle on, I've had a drink since It's my birthday Cheers

Member J.J. Hayden Posted August 2 Author Member Share Posted August 2 Koreans Update Project – Kim Hak-joon [url]https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=18580&complete_credits=1&display_set=eng[/url] This one took a bit of back and forth. He'd already been credited on: 10 Shaolin Disciples; Deadly Shaolin Longfist; Magnificent Natural Fist; The Undertaker In Sohwa Province; and Invincible Obsessed Fighter. But on Invisible he'd been miscredited as Jeon Hak-joon, this wasn't a HKMDB editor's fault though, I remember that the KMDB had got it wrong to begin with. They'd misread the Hanja, which they do more often than you'd think, it's funny how a non-Korean who knows barely any Chinese has to correct it for them I've also had to change the DOB as well to 1963, I'm not sure where the DOB 22Apr1971 came from, but that would make him about 10yo in his films, which is made all the funnier by the fact he often plays old men with a long grey beard The only other things to add were his gender and name in Hangul, his credits for Dragon Against Vampire; Eagle Vs. Silver Fox; Shaolin Drunken Monkey; and the cut & paste film Zodiac Power: The Super Master, and of course ID's for all his films (also tagged Gaijin's images on Longfist too). One image might look familiar, as I mis-ID'd him as Choe Ha-seop in Undertaker (I was about 50/50 at the time), but after getting a version that has less blurred movement I'm confident that it's actually Kim Hak-joon playing more than one role (which he did quite a bit). Eagle Vs. Silver Fox [1980] Shaolin Drunken Monkey [1981] 10 Shaolin Disciples [1981] --- 2 roles Deadly Shaolin Longfist [1982] --- 2 roles Invincible Obsessed Fighter [1982] --- 3 roles Magnificent Natural Fist [1983] The Undertaker In Sohwa Province [1983] --- 2 roles Dragon Against Vampire [1985] Cheers
Member J.J. Hayden Posted August 9 Author Member Share Posted August 9 Koreans Update Project - Park Wan-soo [url]https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=18570&complete_credits=1&display_set=eng[/url] This was a guy that frustrated me for ages, before I finally solved his mysterious ID about a year or two ago. So many issues, such as: miscredits; missing credits; and the worst was the fact that he's one of those “rubber-faces”. The people whose faces seem to morph into entirely new beings anytime they so much as smile. Took a bit of time to sort out the Rivals Of Silver Fox stuff too, that was a right pain to sort through. It's an interesting film for him though as it seems to be the only time he played multiple roles. He's one of those handful of guys (including Hwang Dae-pyung and Kim Hak-joon) that only did a handful of films (often with Kim Jeong-yong) and then just seemed to drop off the face of the earth. Such a shame as they all had some great kicking skills, proficiency with weapons and Park even had some gymnastic skills too. But the industry was often cruel like that. He was already credited on Dragon Claws; Blue Butterfly The Amazon; Undertaker In Sohwa Province; and Deadly Shaolin Longfist where he'd actually been miscredited as Kong Wan-soo. It wasn't the HKMDB editors fault really as the KMDB had messed it up first, but to be fair to them too, the Hanja on the film print is very sloppy and inconsistent, making several of the names difficult to recognise. So I deleted that page and put Park Wan-soo's name in it's place. I also had to remove his name from Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple [1983], because he doesn't appear in that film. If I recall correctly, before I was recruited for the HKMDB, I brought up on the KKF that the credits for Martial Monks and Dragon Claws had been mixed up, I think this is a relic from that time. I tagged Gaijin's pics on: Masters Of Tiger Crane; Dragon Claws; and Deadly Shaolin Longfist. I also had to remove Kwon Seong-yeong from cast list for Longfist as he was mixed with Park Wan-soo. Seems someone else struggled with Park's his rubber-face he often looks a bit like KSY. Finally I added his name in Hangul and another version of his name in Hanja. Special Mission [1976] Rivals Of The Silver Fox [1979] --- 4 roles Deadly Shaolin Longfist [1982] Masters Of Tiger Crane [1982] Magnificent Natural Fist [1983] Dragon Claws [1983] Blue Butterfly The Amazon [1983] The Undertaker In Sohwa Province [1983] Zodiac Power: The Super Master [1987] (Undertaker footage) Cheers
Member J.J. Hayden Posted August 10 Author Member Share Posted August 10 More great news for fans of kicks and Korean martial arts coming to YouTube on the 12th of August. The KOFA is releasing yet another of their HD remasters of rare Korean martial arts films. It's another Charles Han Yong-cheol / Lee Doo-yong collaboration, 1974's Bridge Of Death 죽엄의 다리 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zHDswcLRWk There's plenty more films in their vaults just waiting to be released to worldwide fans, but the problem is: is there enough demand for them? So if you can, please go to their YT page and show support. The more good feedback they get, the more likely that Martial Arts films will get priority of Dramas etc. Cheers 1
Member J.J. Hayden Posted August 16 Author Member Share Posted August 16 Koreans Update Project – Kim Doo-han [url]https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=54598&display_set=eng[/url] He was a very tricky one to ID too, one of the ones I really struggled with. Back then I was struggling to tell whether he was the bearded monk or the non-bearded monk in Martial Monks, it hadn't clicked back then how blatantly the Koreans would just slap a beard on an actor and say he's a completely different main character So for ages I thought they were two actors who looked very similar, little did I know how deep it went in that film, he actually plays no less than 6 roles It was a similar situation with South Shaolin, just a beard throwing me off and again playing several other roles. Now I've become a bit of a shark when it comes to spotting multi-roles, as some may have noticed on my other Korean Updates Projects Then there was his early uncredited roles in Enter The Invincible Hero and Dreadnaught Rivals, where I kept looking at this guys face saying I know him from somewhere. It took a while to finally click, thinking about it though, it probably didn't help that I had lower quality DVDs of both those films at that time. Oh well. Sadly he's another that there's very little info on even though he had some prominent roles through to the mid 90s. It doesn't help that any attempts to research him lead to info about the famous Korean hero/gangster and main character of many martial arts films, who shares his name. He had great kicks and and skill with weapons. But he was also one of the more talented gymnasts of his generation within the Korean film industry. It seems he was a favourite of Wang Ho (Casanova) who used him in 5 of his 6 projects as a director. He was already credited on: Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple; Dragon Claws; South Shaolin Vs North Shaolin; and Sword Of Evil Power. But no IDs yet. I'm thinking in the back of my head that I might have merged two pages: Kim Doo-han and Doo-hwan in my early days on HKMDB, but I can't be sure. But anyway, I've added new Hanja and Hangul and gender but that's about it, not even a DOB, kinda sad. Obviously I've added IDs for all of his films on the HKMDB and tagged Gaijin's for Martial Monks and Dragon Claws pics too. Enter The Invincible Hero [1981] --- 2 roles Dreadnaught Rivals [1982] Martial Monks Of Shaolin Temple [1983] --- 6 roles Dragon Claws [1983] South Shaolin Vs North Shaolin [1984] --- 4 roles Ninja Terminator [1985] Sword Of Evil Power [1985] Ninja Champion [1986] War City: Die To Win [1988] Year Of The King Boxer [1990] Cheers

I had added his credit on The Ring Of Death [1980] at an earlier point, when I was doing some updates to films with Korean cuts. Unfortunately I still don't have access to any scenes that he appears in, so I couldn't get any pics. Another of those guys that had he come into the industry a few years earlier might've become a big star, though he did get a few prominent roles during the mid 80s. He had the kicks, flips and weapons skills, he was particularly skilled in gymnastics, being one of Korea's best of that era. He was good looking and certainly worked his ass off too, often playing several roles and doubling for other actors too, including Keo Ryong (aka Dragon Lee) and Hwang Jeong-ri, so it's probably unfortunate timing that held him back. But he still had a decent career beyond the 80s, making appearances in films and TV but even directing projects of his own, including the Street Fighter: Street War series. Annoyingly, he was a bit tricky to get decent pictures of, often being cut off by the edge of the screen or something else getting in the way or just being too far away etc. But there's some decent ones in there too, so I hope people like them. I also tagged Gaijin84's pics in Martial Monks and Dragon Claws. I'll actually finish up a mini bio for him at some point, but that won't be for a while yet. For now I've just added that he's male and a few name variations. Member J.J. Hayden Posted August 24 Author Member Share Posted August 24 (edited) Won Jin's “Jump Senior” UK screening 07-Sep-2024 Great news for martial arts fans in the UK. Won Jin's directorial debut short film (in which he also stars) is being screened in London at the Hackney Picturehouse, as part of the Fighting Spirit Film Festival's short films session. The “Short Films in Competition Part 1” will begin at 11AM on Saturday the 7th of September and ticket prices vary, depending on how many of the various festival events you wish to attend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend (typical!), but this is a great opportunity for martial arts fans to see something that normally wouldn't see the light of day outside of Korea. For those who are interested, here is the site for the Fighting Spirit Film Festival. https://www.fightingspiritfilmfestival.com/ Cheers p.s. I might as well add this here too. So this can be the first one, as I was doing his Koreans Update Project anyway. A few years back when I began research on him, he was mixed on various sites (including KMDB) with Kadet Lee Seung-hoon and another actor called Lee Seung-hoon (and sometimes others too :o), so that made things quite difficult. There was also the fact he was often credited under his birth name of Lee Yeong-man, that didn't help with things either. Apart from being selected as the co-lead in Shaolin And Taichi, he's had surprisingly few moments to show off his impressive martial arts skills despite his obvious talent. Even in some of the early films in his career he was playing non-fighting characters, sometimes exclusively. In Korea he's actually better known for being a regular actor in dramatic films and TV series'. He was credited in but not yet ID'd in most of his relevant films: 10 Shaolin Disciples [1981]; Deadly Shaolin Longfist [1982]; Invincible Obsessed Fighter [1982]; Shaolin And Taichi [1983]. So there were only two films to add, Aloha Little Vampire Story [1988] which I'd already uploaded under the name Li Yong-wan (a variation of the Hanja for Lee Yeong-man); and Magnificent Natural Fist in which he's really a special guest. I merged the two pages and added any missing Hanja and Hangul. The only other info to update was his DOB which said 04-Feb-1961 (KMDB also says 1961), but his actual DOB is 30-Nov-1955. There a decent bit I can write about him, so expect a mini bio somewhere down the line. But for now, here are his ID's for all 6 of his HKMDB films (and tagged Gaijin84's pic in Deadly too). 10 Shaolin Disciples [1981] --- 2 roles Deadly Shaolin Longfist [1982] --- 2 roles Invincible Obsessed Fighter [1982] Magnificent Natural Fist [1983] Shaolin And Taichi [1983] Aloha Little Vampire Story [1988] Cheers

I finally got the majority of my Steam library to work, so I'm a bit distracted by that. I can finally play Way Of The Samurai 3 Aloha was his debut at the tender age of 6. Sadly, it was the only Taiwan/Korea cross over that this little guy did. But he's had an interesting career as a child star in films and on TV, continuing to act into his adult life (which like in the West, is uncommon). Another unfortunate thing (for MA fans at least) is that despite him learning martial arts from a young age, we never really got to see any of it on-screen. But he's interesting enough that I will return at some point with a finished bio for him. I've added bits I'd left out when I created his page: his name in Hanja, Hangul and another alias. I also added a few more pics (without the vampire make-up) when he was a kid and as he grew up, even one where he shows of his physique, it's really a shame he never became an action star. Member J.J. He continues to work hard, practising and promoting Korean martial arts to this day. I've left a little note on his page, as I do plan to finish a decent sized bio on him at some point in the future. I also added his name in Hangul and his full DOB. Sadly he's another one similar to Lee Je-gyu where, the versions of the films I've got too often cut half of him off the screen So there's only a handful of decent pictures really. I also tagged Gaijin's pic in The Dragon's Snake Fist [1981]. The Drunken Monk [1981] --- 2 roles The Dragon's Snake Fist [1981] Fury In Shaolin Temple [1982] --- 6 roles Incredible Shaolin Thunderkick [1982] --- 2 roles Invincible Obsessed Fighter [1982] --- 2 roles Fire Lord [1983] --- 2 roles 7-Star Grand Mantis [1983] --- 2 roles Shaolin And Taichi [1983] --- 2 roles Sandong Chinsese Restaurant [1983] Rocky's Love Affairs [1985] --- 2 roles School For Vampires [1988] --- 2 roles Cheers
