The provocative maestro himself did a 90 min Q&A later after 2hr 25 min long dark and remorseless story that feels like a documentary with its real life tone and persuasive acting, even from the iconic Italian horror auteur himself, Dario Argento who plays one of the main characters. I recommend this film, gaspar noe fans and non fans! During the Q&A which was engulfed with Gaspar's memoirs from teenhood to directorhood, I learnt plenty from his style, work ethic and candid talk about his films dealing with taboo subjects and portrayal of violence on screen. He didn't give a flying fuck about upsetting any audience members but kept it chirpy and comedic, not in a distasteful manner. One of the questions from the BFI host was of the issues faced when directing the infamous 9 min onscreen rape scene in irreversible, Gaspar answered nonchalantly - "yes, the issue we had with the rape scene of Monica (belluci) was that the rapist was Corcsican!"..the audience went hysterics.
