Member AlbertV Posted May 5, 2022 Member Share Posted May 5, 2022 (edited) There is going to be a seventh installment of Universal's Bring It On franchise...with one big difference: this one is getting the horror movie treatment. Karen Lam directed the film, which will debut on the SYFY channel this Halloween. It was announced last year with SYFY talked about Chucky and the Slumber Party Massacre remake. The original title was Bring it On Halloween, but now the official title is Bring It On: Cheer or Die The film was written by indie horror veteran Rebekah McKendry (All the Creatures Were Stirring) and Dana Schwartz from a story by Alyson Fouse. From Universal 1440 Entertainment and Beacon Pictures, Bring It On: Cheer or Die follows a cheer squad as they practice their routines overnight in an abandoned school during Halloween weekend where one-by-one, the teens fall victim to a deranged assailant. The film has officially been given a PG-13 rating for “Violence, language, sexual material and some drug content.” https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3713595/syfy-horror-movie-bring-it-on-cheer-or-die-rated-pg-13-for-violence/ Edited May 5, 2022 by AlbertV
