Which historical epic do you prefer?

Rewatching BaA right now and I'm actually surprised this film didn't sky rocket in popularity in Hong Kong during 2019. Not identical situation but there are some emotional and political similarities.

Red Cliff by miles and miles. Great Wall of China miles baby!

I like BAA, especially because of some of the characters' captivating dramatic plot, but RED CLIFF is the epitome of epic.

Has to be 'Red Cliff'.  'Bodyguards and Assassins' lost me the moment I saw Donnie Yen in his skin colored swim cap because he didn't want to shave his hair off, then proceeds to get into a fight with a horse.
