Ask those people to find out where they were talking about. Sorry if you mis-understood my last post, I wasn't meaning you directly, just speaking in general. I would never make a personal attack against you, this forum is for friendly debate, not that kind of thing. I believe the comparisions stem from a lack of knowledge on the part of the reviewer. They may know little about asian films and culture, and thus have no proper fram of referrance for these films. They see a movie that contains fantasy elements, good vs evil, and compare it to the only other type of films they've seen. It shows an ignorance of the rich culture that underpins these movies.
