Hidalgo made this while an English-language remake of his film debut is in development with the director returning to direct with Andy and Barbara Muschietti producing. This film is actually very good when it comes to the story and is very intense. Will Beinbrink (It: Chapter Two), plays Father Peter Williams, an American priest who while serving in Mexico, made a big mistake 18 years ago when he decided to perform an exorcism himself and ended up not only possessed but committed an unspeakable act that had haunted him and sent him to become a reclusive man in a small village. Questioning his faith after many children in the area had succumbed to illnesses, he learns that another young woman has been possessed by the same spirit that nearly destroyed him years ago.
