WWE has released the following superstars:

  • Top Dolla
  • Riddick Moss
  • Elias
  • Shelton Benjamin
  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Rick Boogs
  • Emma
  • Mustafa Ali
  • Aliyah

Jon Moxley is believed to have a suffered a concussion after receiving a piledriver against Rey Fenix at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. After being unable to kick out, Fenix would do a 2nd piledriver and win the AEW International Title. He eventually was able to get up and walk out on his own.

I was going to call him Spare Change but Bottom Dolla will do lol.

I was surprised that Ziggler got released as he seemed like a lifer mostly to put over others at this stage of his career.

Felt bad for the crowd this past Friday on Smackdown as they were chanting for the Rock and he's not coming back anytime soon, the appearance a few weeks ago was a one-off especially with the WGA strike close to ending.

HAHA I like Spare Change. :D

Yeah Zigs was a surprise but he could do alright in AEW especially if he teams up with his brother. They'd make a good Tag Team I think.

Oh so Rock Vs Roman isn't happening?

Mustafa Ali is the only one I'd like to see in AEW from the released WWE wrestlers.

Yeah he'd flip right in.

There's a lot of online discussion regarding the man in the devil mask on this week's Dynamite. Most people think it's Adam Cole (with the rest of Undisputed) and that his broken ankle is a work.

I'd love the ankle thing to be a work as Cole as a heel would be better than the current face run. Also I'm finding the Cole/MJF stuff a bit cringe now.

At least there is something intriguing going on in AEW right now making people want to watch.

AEW WrestleDream Card:

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: FTR vs. Aussie Open
ROH World and NJPW Strong Openweight Championship Match: Eddie Kingston vs. Katsuyori Shibata
ROH World Tag Team Championship Match: MJF vs. The Righteous
AEW TBS Championship Match: Kris Statlander vs. Julia Hart
AEW TNT Championship 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match: Christian Cage (c) vs. Darby Allin
Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho & Kota Ibushi vs. Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara & Will Ospreay
Hangman Page vs. Swerve Strickland
Wheeler Yuta vs. Ricky Starks

I hope Swerve wins as he's been doing awesome and Hangman is a whiny bitch.

BD Vs ZSJ should be decent to excellent.

If MJF wins against The Righteous then that'll be ridiculous!

WrestleDream was good. I enjoyed the DB/ZSJ match. I like all that technical shit.

Swerve is so good! Total package.

Hangman sucks so bad! Really boring wrestler. Awful whiny promos too.

Christian/DA match was fun but DA really needs to stop with all those stupid spots! The stairs stuff was hard to watch!

Not sure if Copeland will add much to ratings but some of the matches he'll have should be good.

WWE Fastlane was okay...there were some great matches and one I wished had a different finish

The two best matches IMO were Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeating Finn Balor and Damien Priest to become the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions. Great match here and thanks to J.D. McDonagh missing Cody and hitting Damien in the knee with the MITB briefcase causing Cody to hit Damien with Cross Rhodes on the announce table and then Jey and Cody using an awesome homage to the Dudley's 3D before Cody hit Cross Rhodes on Balor to win!

The other, the Last Man Standing match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura. Sick match...both gave it their all. Nakamura even used nunchakus at one point! In the end Rollins pulled off a last minute move to make Nakamura lose the count to 10.

As much as I enjoyed mostly the triple threat between Iyo SkyAsuka, and Charlotte Flair for the Women's Championship...Bayley's interference was just annoying tired even after Iyo warned her to not get involved. Could lead to some dissention in Damage Control though...hope so because Iyo has the potential to go out on her own.

John Cena and LA Knight vs. The Bloodline was a good match as Cena didn't act like superhero here. He gave Knight the props needed to ultimately win and the respect between the two solidified things.

Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar were supposed to have a mystery partner against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. It mostly was a 3 vs 2 handicap match. However, the third partner finally arrived in the form of Carlito who looked great and gave Montez Ford the Backstabber to help the LWO win.

Wish Nakamura was just using the chucks throughout the match 😂

Yeah it was, but still, was quite interesting to see them being used. I agree with @OpiumKungFuCracker..imagine had he used them throughout the entire match,

Oh and it's official...Carlito is back as a full-time WWE wrestler. He will be on Smackdown!

Even though I don't watch WWE, I do check their YT page for highlights/info and right now it seems like a big deal compared to AEW and their dullness.

TK should also stay off X as he seems like a coked up bellend. He acts like a kid on there and makes himself and AEW look bad.

I'm struggling to get behind guys like Hobbs/Starks because AEW do not know how to build up stars. Hobbs should be a big player but I don't trust them not to fuck it up.

Like Wardlow has returned but I went from liking him initially to wanting to change the channel now. They destroyed anything he had going for him. Letting him talk was another bad step.

Takeshita is great and looks like a total boss but he's stuck with Don and seems like he's not going anywhere fast.

Also I hate how moves don't mean anything anymore. They just spam shit and get up from everything! Ugh!

Darby really needs to tone it down. He's going to have real issues later on (if he doesn't already).

Never been a huge fan of EDGE but him Vs Christian is promising and hopefully leads to a good feud. Christian needs to lay off the dead dads shit though. That's gotten old.

I had no idea hardly anyone of the guys who worked or knew Mean Gene didn't go to his funeral! WTF! He was awesome and played just as big a part of wrestling than the actual wrestlers did.

So sad. :(

ICYMI, Nick Aldis has joined WWE and is the General Manager of Smackdown! where Adam Pearce is the General Manager of RAW.

Jade Cargill is now in WWE. She hasn't had a match yet, but Triple H brought her to FastLane and is on. She's already met Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch
