When this came out in American theaters, my friends and I watched it twice--the first time we arrived late and missed the opening action sequence. The second time was at the dollar theater.

I then bought it on VHS and it became "one of the classics" with my other group of friends.

I currently own the Brazilian DVD that has the international dub (as opposed to the newer dub with lots of profanity and a hip hop soundtrack that has the "funky free feel like B-Real."

Watched it this evening. I'm always wowed by how ultraviolent the movie is; it reaches (if not surpasses) John Woo levels of mayhem. It's certainly more sadistic, too. But the action scenes are fun and it's always nice to see a superhero movie that doesn't involve a world-ending event.
