Member SuperTiaanBro Posted October 14, 2021 Member Share Posted October 14, 2021 I say this all the time but Spiritual Kung Fu. Drunken Master is also a contender for my favorite though.

Member Kwai Posted October 15, 2021 Member Share Posted October 15, 2021 The movies which i consider a trilogy because of their similar construction (snake, drunken, hyena) are probably his best old school movies. Together with young master and dragon lord. I also enjoy half a loaf of kung fu, to kill with intrigue and dragon fist. His worst oldschool movie is killer meteors and spiritual kung fu is pretty bad in some parts.
Member Cognoscente Posted October 15, 2021 Member Share Posted October 15, 2021 The Young Master (since all of it was filmed in 1979 despite being released in 1980).

Agree with the first 3 ie Snake In The Eagles Shadow Drunken Master Fearless Hyena (i think this is a Little under rated) but would add Shaolin Chamber Of Death as one of faves i also rate Snake & Crane and Dragon Fist but not as much as the 4 above Spiritual Kung wasn't too bad but not as good as the above.

Good list, but I have to agree to disagree with Spiritual Kung Fu. Personally I love it, and not in the way I like bad movies. I think it's good, and hilarious. It's different with movies like Troll 2 though. I like that movie BECAUSE it's bad.
Member 36tripsofdeath Posted November 5, 2021 Member Share Posted November 5, 2021 As a movie in general, Eagle Shadow Fist is my favorite. For Jackie himself, I would have to choose No End of Surprises in spite of his limited role. You never see Jackie in a role like this ever again imo.
Member SunChien Posted June 24, 2022 Member Share Posted June 24, 2022 Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, rented it a lot back in the day. It was the first movie I saw Hwang Jang Lee in as a bad guy and he was very imposing.
Member WangYu Posted June 25, 2022 Member Share Posted June 25, 2022 i’m the odd one I prefer new fist of fury and killer meteors. I rather keep comedy at a minimum. Impressive choreography nonetheless in all his movies.
Member DarthKato Posted December 18, 2022 Member Share Posted December 18, 2022 Defiantly Snake In The Eagle's Shadow, but Drunken Master and Dragon Fist are also really good.

Member Jesse Smooth Posted January 12, 2023 Member Share Posted January 12, 2023 SNAKE & CRANE/DRAGON FIST. The first movies I ever bought with my allowance…2 pack from Suncoast (remember them?). Plus DF has a helluva finale.
