Warrior (TBA) - Gavin O'Connor Developing Series Based on His MMA Film

Gavin O'Connor is keeping busy. Aside from developing a sequel to The Accountant, he announced he is planning a series adaptation of his 2011 MMA drama Warrior. The film will once again revolve around the Sparta MMA tournament, only this time the focus will be on four fighters: two men and two women. Former UFC fighter Daniel Cormier will be playing one of the roles in the upcoming series.

Warrior was such a great movie! I've enjoyed it tremendously. Not sure though if I'd need a series but might check it out. Thanks for the info.
