Member AlbertV Posted August 30, 2021 Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 Back a few years ago, Jackie Chan took to the director's chair to work on a 1930's set period drama entitled The Diary. The film began production in China and then finished in Prague and other pieces of the Czech Republic. The film stars Jaycee Chan as a man who leaves China and heads to Europe to find his long lost love. Chan also wrote and produced with music by Nathan Wang (Rumble in the Bronx, Who Am I?) and cinematography by Klaus Fuxjager and Tam Wai-Man. https://filmcommission.cz/en/film/12396/ https://asianmoviepulse.com/2020/04/jackie-chans-period-drama-the-diary-expected-to-be-released-in-autumn-2020/ It looks like it is gearing for a 2022 release date.

Member 36tripsofdeath Posted January 1, 2022 Member Share Posted January 1, 2022 I am very interested in this one and the already released (but seldom mentioned) Jaycee Chan's directorial debut Good Night Beijing. I also am interested in Jackie's upcoming 2022 starring feature Ride On but I am skeptical of the end result.
