Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted August 30, 2021 Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2021 For my latest feature over at COF, I look back on the 6 movies that Jackie Chan and Stanley Tong have made together as star and director over a period of almost 30 years, and ask the question - what makes them keep on coming back together!? Hope everyone enjoys! Moderator Asmo Posted August 30, 2021 Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2021 Can't wait to give this an indepth read. I initially thought that Stanley would have been something of an analogue for Jackie. A way for Jackie to have the films directed as closely as possible as how Jackie would do it, without possibly going over time/budget. But I think, in saying that, Stanley soon came into his own as he gained more experience as a director.
