The martial art makes its debut this year in the forms of Kata and Kumite. Brian Irr, 33, of Plano, Texas will compete in the 75 KG Kumite. Sakuma Kokumai, 28, of Honolulu, HI will compete in Women's Kata. Thomas Scott, 31, will compete in the 75 KG Kumite. Ariel Torres Gutierrez, 23, of Hialeah, FL, will compete in Men's Kata.
