Army of the Dead's Dieter Ludwig, Matthias Schweighofer, is returning to the role in a prequel that he also directed with AotD director Zack Snyder coming up with the story and serving as producer. John Wick 3 & 4 script writer Shay Hatten wrote the screenplay for this prequel.
