Inspired since the age of 3, Lee eventually began training himself in martial arts, first under Chung Ball then learning Wun Hop Kuen Do under Al Dacascos. Other teachers include Chi Kung masters Share K. Lew and Wei Mei Yu as well as James Lee. He's excelled in Wun Hop Kuen Do, Kajukenbo, Jeet Kune Do, Chi Kung, Tai Chi, and Northern Shaolin among others. Eric started in small TV roles in 1969 before his reign as the King of Kata. After his retirement from competitions, Lee focused on teaching and the film industry, where he worked as an actor and stuntman. He's worked alongside Chuck Norris, Cynthia Rothrock, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Brandon Lee, and Michael Worth just to name a few. In 1981, he took the lead role in the B-movie Weapons of Death opposite Sid Campbell.
