At the age of 5, Chou began his training in martial arts, At the age of 12, Chou began his film career as a stuntman, which would lead to his first leading role in 1986's Promising Young Boy. Shortly after the film, Chou served his mandatory 2-year stint in the Taiwanese military. He would move to Hong Kong and really amp up his film career where he took on the stage name of "Ngai Sing" and was a member of the Hung Ga Ban, Sammo Hung's Stunt Team.

He has worked with the likes of Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Yu Rong Guang, Yuen Biao and many others. In 1997, Chou decided to drop his stage name of "Ngai Sing" and be known as Chou Siu-Lung, using the English name "Collin Chou". In 2003, when Jet Li turned down the role of Seraph in The Matrix Reloaded, Chou made his Hollywood debut with the role, which extended to The Matrix Revolutions. In 2007, he had a spectacular rematch against Donnie Yen (after 1999's City of Darkness) with their climactic fight in Flash Point, hailed as one of the best modern-day Hong Kong action films today.

Collin has done both action and non-action roles in Hong Kong, his native Taiwan, and the United States. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, former Hong Kong actress Wanda Yung, and their children.

I was introduced to this actor as Ngai Sing in Bodyguard from Beijing.  I know he had been acting previously, but that kitchen fight scene with Jet Li was awesome.  His wife is a stunner!
