A sequel to American Wrestler: The Wizard, this film revolves around Ali Jahani, a promising college wrestler who is desperate for cash after his mother is in the hospital. He enters the world of underground fighting, but despite his determination, he is beaten to a bloody pulp. Duke, a handler with a past, takes pity on Ali and trains him to mix his wrestling skills with martial arts to become a fierce fighter. George Thomas Kosturos reprises his role of Ali in the film, which hit DVD yesterday.

The character of Ali is loosely based on producer Ali Afshar, the man behind motocross company ESX and was an actual college wrestling champion in California before pursing his career in the film and sports industries.
