This list is my personal favourites... I’m not saying these are the most talented... just that there’s something about these guys that I prefer to see in a Kung fu movie ... I’ll leave out Bruce & Jackie..  I’ll go with David Chiang (on acting ability & charisma) ...Wong Tao ... Casanova Wong ( for his unbelievable leg work) ...Lo Meng (always enjoyed his scenes in the later shaw movies) & Chi Kuan Chun.. always have enjoyed watching his movies. Probably not one of my favourites... but Billy Chong was very good! If only he had done more movies... I could have gone on & on .. so many I enjoy watching... I’d like to hear other people’s list... either just name five or do a top 5 ...no point in putting Bruce & Jackie in there.think we would all have them in our top five.

Neither Bruce or Jackie would be on mine.

Just based on the 70's I'll go with...

Sammo..... he's the greatest of all time.

David Chiang..... for the same reasons as you.

Hwang Jang Lee.... one of the meanest mofos ever, and I started TKD because of him.

Phillip Ko Fei.... second meanest mofo, and one of the cleanest, crispest performers of any kind of choreo they threw at him.

Leung Kar Yan... king of mimickry and always loved his whole vibe whether heel or hero and of course the beard.

But yes.... the list could go on forever.

I thought about Hwang Jang Lee & Phillip Ko Fei for my list too.. Sammo is an absolute legend.. then you have Ti lung.. Tan Tao liang.. the list just goes on & on. I really like Kwan Young moon for his leg work too.. but he didn’t really get much screen time in many movies.

Only one girl ?

I think that there should be a list for the girls and a list for the men.

It also seems to me that we had this kind of list somewhere on the forum...

I do love Angela Mao & Lily Li. Damn almost forgot Cheng Pei Pei although she was prolific late 60's

Still have quite a few to catch up on with these three...
