Finally!!! So the movie was previously cut in the UK and had a runtime of 87 min in cinema and 85 min (PAL) on VHS... The BBFC now shows the running time of 89 min for 88 Films' upcoming release, which could mean the movie will be passed uncut. Seven Warriors is GREAT ! You have to watch the duel between Adam Cheng and Lo Lieh ! Every actor/actress involved in this movie does an excellent job. Tony Leung and Max Mok add a little bit of humor from time to time, and Wu Ma is great too. You must get it ! Just snagged it for $13 off eBay. I’m not expecting great art or a respectable remake of a Kurosawa classic, just great old-school grubby HK action with a cast of faves, and it looks like this will deliver. Can’t wait.
