Looking to Find a Film

I have been looking for a modern day film for quite sometime but still haven't found it.

The basic plot is three dudes are fighting the local triad boss. The two scenes that I can remember are:

1.  There is a fight with machetes in the courtyard of an abandoned building. The toughest villains are two women. When each of them dies, the camera cuts away to the white tiled walls which get splattered with blood.
2.  One of the triad higher ups is doing business poolside when he gets up and leaves. The three heroes ambush him after he gets into his car. The head boss is told about this at a nightclub and throws a fit. He is sitting at a table near a corner by himself.

What year, approximately? Sounds like late 80's or 90's, but hard to say? I mean release date, approximately.
