I wish someone would reinvent Tony Jaa. He’s been doing the same Muay Thai shtick since his first movie. In Ong Bak 2 he shows off far more than just knees and elbows. I want him to show variation again.

Hopefully, if this franchise comes to fruition, they’ll do something cool with him. A trilogy of Jaa doing somersault kicks just doesn’t sound exciting to me.

I expect this will stay at the ‘proposed’ stage. If you want to see Jaa’s full range of talents on display, we already have a trilogy that provides exactly that with ‘Ong Bak’.
