After Wira and the award-winning Geran, here comes Red Storm. I have to say this trailer got me excited, despite looking like The Raid rip-off at first. Member Super Ninja Posted October 31, 2020 Author Member Share Posted October 31, 2020 Red Storm was scheduled to hit the local cinemas in March (28.3.2019 was the official premiere date), followed by its release in China either in April or May. Malaysian Evo Pictures wasn't the only company involved in the production, Singapore’s Fusion Media and China’s He Nan Media Communication collaborated on the project as well. Chuah had this to say about his cop role in his film: “I’ve always wanted to play a cop ever since I was a kid as I grew up watching cop action movies. This is already my sixth movie, but only my first time playing a policeman, so it is a dream come true for me." Seems Chuah was quite busy as the word is he wrapped filming for another one of his actioners in April. Stormbreaker is again a coproduction between Malaysian Evo Pictures and Chinese partners, Shanghai Bright Pictures and ShaoXing New Media Pictures. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
